Build 443 shipped on 14 October 2026. The developer calls it a UX patch and says so plainly: the tutorial, the controls and the trim workflow were the problems, not the dress catalogue.

Trim and accessories

The headline change is Fast Trim Placement, an option that places trim with far fewer clicks and doubles as an accessibility setting. Trim can now be selected by its end node, extended by clicking again, and the selection persists after placement. A duplicate button repeats the current trim at the same height, size and tilt.

Several smaller fixes target the same frustration. Trim can be lowered to negative heights. Dragging rotates the mannequin while you place trim. Normal detection on simple accessories was improved so rotation snaps less. Moving a simple accessory now applies a drag offset, so a small nudge no longer jumps.

Camera and cutting room

The mannequin camera got a first pass. Zoom is smooth instead of stepped, holding Control while scrolling zooms, right-drag pans, and keyboard orbit controls were added. The developer states outright that the controls still need work and a more drastic rework is under consideration.

Cutting room fixes are mostly about accidental loss. The scissors can only discard fabric when the discard button was clicked, which ends the misfire that cost one player five metres of velvet. A button grabs all panel pieces at once, tooltips were added, and the flashbang glitch is fixed.

The scoring change that moves old dresses

Colour and fabric-type requirements used to be calculated as a raw percentage of each panel’s area against the whole dress. Small components such as collars and sleeves barely registered. The patch boosts those panels so they count for something, which the developer says matches what players intuitively expect.

The trade-off is explicit: past dresses may now score slightly differently. The same patch fixed trims that carried a default tilt offset, so any dress where you manually corrected tilt may look marginally off.

New content and performance

The update also added two more skirt variants with new fabrics and accessories, as reported by PCGamesN alongside the official notes.

On crashes, the developer is still hunting the cause but notes that uninstalling OMEN Gaming Hub solved it for many players. That is worth trying before a reinstall.

Why this patch matters for new players

Almost every change reduces the number of clicks between an idea and a placed trim. The tutorial gained paging hints and control tips at the bottom of the screen, because players did not know the sketchbook pages to other open commissions or that component names open the item list.

Scoring, sewing and material basics are covered on the sewing guide, pattern work on pattern cutting, and the first commission loop on the beginner guide.
